Dr. Abul Hossain Degree College is a non govt. (private) college in Rajbari. Founder of this college is Dr. Abul Hossain, the great man. It was established in 1996. All credits goes to the founder for the establishment of this college. This is a combined college for both boys and girls. HSC (Intermediate), Degree (3 years) and Honors (4 year) courses are available here. When the college started its journey then it was known as Dr. Abul Hossain College. Only HSC course was available at that time. But after adding Degree and Honors course, from 2010 it is known as Dr. Abul Hossain Degree College. The college includes 4 buildings, three storied each. The college has residential facilities for both boys and girls. Currently classes are held in 2 of the buildings. Others are being used for student hostel.

The college is situated just beside the fire service. The college is very popular now. There are currently about 500 students and 50 teachers in this college. The current professor of the college is Manjurul Alam Dulal. He has been leading the college from the front since the beginning. The teachers of this college are known to be very friendly and helpful. They have been providing good quality education among the student for quite a few years now. Besides study this college offers co curricular activities to the students like sports, cultural programs, scouts etc. This college has a good cricket team as well. For entertainment the college has a playground and a beautiful garden with a statue of the founder Dr. Abul Hossain. The college also has a canteen.

The annual result of this college is very good and the students are doing better and better every year. Thanks again to Sir Abul Hossain for his foundation. We wish all the best for him and his college.
